HUD's FREE Housing Market Analysis'

I see quite a few posts asking if a certain market is good to invest in or not.  Usually, the replies are anecdotal and really don't give you the data.

I've been using the HUD Comprehensive Housing Market Analysis site for quite some time as I'm selling three properties under 1031's and would like to retire/invest where it's warmer.

Here's the link.  Just choose the area on the right that represents the region you are investigating, choose State/Metro/Local Comprehensive Housing Market Analysis from the tabs in the middle of the page, and then drill down to the area by state.  Note that the areas are updated every few years so things may have changed slightly but rarely materially.
