Settling Deck With Home Addition
I am purchasing a home in Rexburg, Idaho that has a second floor deck/home addition that has settled. The home foundation appears solid and only the deck supports have settled due to insufficient footings. I'm looking for a contractor and structural engineer in the Rexburg/Idaho Falls area who have experience working with this type of work. Any suggestions?
Scope of work anticipated is drilling/pouring new footings, installing new posts and a support beam, and leveling the deck/addition in the process.
