Multifamily ... or not?
I am considering acquiring six units on one parcel of land. It comprises a four-unit building and a duplex. So is the property ...
- A) ... considered multifamily since it's more than five units and therefore valued on a multiple of NOI?
- B) ... two buildings, neither of which is multifamily and therefore worth the appraised value of the real estate?
- C) ... whatever I can talk the lender into?
Thanks. I'll hang up and listen offline.
