VA ASSUMPTION INVESTMENT
My next door neighbor moved and couldn’t sell her home. She asked me to assume her loan to avoid foreclosure. (I told her it would be an investment property) I accepted and we signed a purchase agreement for me to assume her loan. Pennymac accepted the assumption knowing it would be an investment. At closing she refused to sign the “understanding of entitlement” stating the entitlement would stay with the home. Thus cancelling the assumption even though I paid her mortgage for 90 days.
Can I sue?
