Best Method of Value Add

I’ve been listening to BP and reading their books for awhile now, but this is my first forum post! I’m a new investor in central/south Jersey looking at a 4 bed/1 bath house with a converted garage that doesn’t add much usable living space. Can anyone with experience offer advice on the best ways to add value in this area? I.e-convert old garage back to garage? Convert a bedroom to a master suite and add an additional bath? Thanks!
