Loans on duplexes and other advice for getting started

hello I’m Andrew, I’m new and have been researching and reading and I want to buy a duplex and get into investing. I’m 23 and live in MN and I was wondering if I should get a loan through a big bank or a mortgage loan officer? Or any other suggestions to help me get started?
