Can a WY LLC own a Massachusetts LLC?

Mike Jones
Posted

Does anyone know if its possible to have a WY LLC own a Massachusetts LLC?

All that I can find is the WY entity must register as a foreign in MA.

I have a single member WY holding LLC and wanted to make it the owner of a MA LLC.

Anybody with a MA entity done this??

You need a legal mailing address and to be conducting business in the state to have a valid LLC. You can file online or an attorney to take care of it on your behalf to transfer here.
