How much to get started?
Hello!
I would really love to get started in doing real estate. My question is how much do i have to spend to start buying houses? Is 3.5% down payment enough? I have an investor friend that I can partner & borrow money with but that would be my last resort. As much as possible I wanted to do it by myself due to personal reasons.
Me and my wife have a house but my name isn’t on it since I didn’t have credit at the time she bought it. Now, I have a good credit. But I am a freelancer which means I don’t get W2s. I would think it would be hard for me to get a loan.
Any tips and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
