Options for harvesting equity for next purchase?
This June I’ll have approximately $300k in equity between 2 short term rentals. I’d like to harvest that equity towards growing my portfolio. After listening to Brandon’s webinar on Multi’s, I’m definitely considering that option.
Two questions; should I refi one of the properties or go with a HELOC to access equity? Given that I'll need 60k for down payment on multi, should I go that route or split that $60k between 2 more STRs?
I'd really like to grab my first multi but debating whether I should stay in my STR lane.
