Buying in Navy Yards - Washington DC
Im looking to make my first purchase in Washington DC and I would like to invest in the Navy Yards area as I can see it being the go to spot in the next 10 years.
Any thoughts on this area and why they have some many rentals - I would love to get the opinion of a DC native.

50% of the district is rentals, so everywhere there is a ton of them. Navy Yard is a little pricey for me. There are other neighborhoods I like a lot more for a lower price.
