The Pros and Cons of Turnkey Properties

For those that have questions about turnkey properties, I wanted to share Nathan Miller’s piece 6 Pros & Cons of Investing in Turnkey Properties. If you’re currently educating yourself on the various options for real estate investing, this piece is a great place to start.

If you’re considering remote real estate investing, one area of this piece you should pay special attention to is the concerns associated with long distance investing. Remote real estate investing opens up many opportunities that, for millions of people, local investing would not, but as Miller says, you need to do your due diligence.

I would add to Miller’s comments that perhaps even more important than the typical due diligence required before purchasing a property is finding someone to work with that you can trust. Having spent years working in the turnkey property space, I’ve seen how much it can benefit investors, but I’ve also seen plenty of scammy companies.
