New St.Louis investor looking to invest in multi-families.

Hello, my name is Jonathan I’m a St.Louis local masonry contractor and Realtor soon to be investor. I’m looking for guidance stepping off into my first venture in investing in multi-family units.

I bought my first house last year and plan to rent it out to cover mortgage payments plus a little extra, then find a quad-plex to purchase and house hack (my current house is too big for my small family... me + wife)

Looking for strategic advice or any advice from anyone with history in house hacking.
