Assumable veteran affair loan

Zach Jones
Posted

Good afternoon all, I’ve invested in real estate for about seven years now but I’ve never assumed a loan before. I’ve always used a realtor etc. I was hoping to get educated on the process of assuming a va loan. We know through the sellers bank it can be assumed, I know the interest rate I would take over, and the monthly payment. When the seller spoke to the bank they said they would send him what he would need in the mail to turn over the loan. Can someone educate me on the next steps?
