Multi-family Offer - PSA and Income/Background Verification
I would like to make an offer on a 2 unit building that I recently walked through. I just happened upon this MLS listed property, so I am unrepresented. I have two questions when making an offer:
1) Should I fill out the PSA myself or should I have an attorney fill that out for me?
2) Is it necessary to do my own income/background checks on the current renters? Or if the seller can demonstrate that they have historically paid on time, is this enough? Do I need to make the offer contingent on this information or just verify it before the offer?
Thanks in advance!
