Does anyone knows the best way to search a property for lien?

Hi all,

I am currently working with a seller that has a little house on a 4 acres of land. The seller is unsure whether there is lien or not on the property since he has not fulfilled his ownership duty in a while. How do I search this property for lien? thanks.
