Purchasing Property Under LLC

I am currently reading Brandon Turner's book The Book on Rental Property Investing and in one of the chapters he says how banks will not usually give loans to entities such as an LLC or if I try to transfer a property from my name to an LLC the bank might call in the loan. My concern is how do I have the personal protection of an LLC if I essentially cannot get conventional financing or transfer the title after the purchase? Also, if I buy a property using a hard money lender/private lender and purchase a property with my LLC, will I be able to get a mortgage to pay the lender back even though the property is under an LLC?
