Tips on Scouting for other RE investors?

Hello BP!

I'm a new investor looking to grow my REI education and REI relationships. The BP books I've read have recommended "asking what kinds of properties other investors are looking for, and go out and find those properties!" as a great strategy to build relationships and analytical competence.

For scouters or Investors that use scouters: Do you have any tips on how to be a great scout for someone else? With my being in college I'm unable to invest in most deals at this point, but I want to help others achieve their goals and learn from them along the way!

I have family/possible investing connections in Minneapolis, San Antonio, Iowa City, Quad Cities, so if you have targeted advice for scouting in those markets I would also love to hear that.

Thanks for your time BP!

SUPER SIMPLE WAY TO THINK ABOUT IT

Think like an investor, find a deal you would buy if you where an investor, put it under contract and then call all the investors you know and have them buy it from you.

If you want more detail ask specifically what you are struggling with.
