What's the right situation to buy a turnkey home? - Primary Home

Steven K.
Posted

My parents and I are looking to buy our first primary residence. Have been renting since I could remember and are comfortable financially to take a new direction.

Is it ever good to buy a turnkey home? This won't be a househack as only my family will be living here nor will it really be a flip if it's turnkey i'm assuming unless the value of the property appreciates very fortunately.

Any suggestions for getting knowledgeable on what might be a great deal in the areas I'm looking in in addition to the "Path to Purchase" resource on BP?

Thanks!
