Itching to invest but don’t know where to begin
Hello everyone,
I’m new to BiggerPockets and really want advice. For the past 2-3 years I’ve been saving as much as I can (made it to 26K) to hopefully buy my first multi-family home, live there, and rent out the extra unit/apt and house hack. However, life happened and my fiancé and I had to move to San Diego for work. We recently got here November of 2019 but don’t plan on staying longer than 3 years. As some of you may know house hacking in San Diego is almost impossible unless you have a good chunk of change for down payment.
My question is what should I do with my money in the meantime? I would hate to see my savings stay in a Money Market gaining .90 APY. Of course I’m gonna continue to save as much as possible but unfortunately don’t feel like I can house hack out here.
