Seller financing a mobile home
Who holds the title to a mobile home when I offer seller financing to my buyer? Do I transfer title at the time the note is agreed upon? Or do I hold title until the note term has ended and been paid in full?
I ask because I'm shopping in a park where management of the park requires the title owner to live in the mobile home. They do not allow rentals or rent to own because they want the title should be transferred at the time of sale.
Can I buy a mobile home in this park and do seller financing? Or do I need to sell it outright?
