Treat for termites as a precaution?

Hey everyone! So i just sold my first flip and it was an awesome experience!! I am now in the market for a new property to fix and flip. This was my first home i EVER bought therefore, i never thought to check for signs of termites and found out that an FHA loan requires an in-depth termite inspection; when i found this out i had an inspector come out and check. He said their are three types of homes here in Houston, " Homes that have termites, have had termites or will have termites." So as a precaution i had pods put in around the home as a preventative and it warrantied against termites for 1 year (This cost me $2,500). Now that i am looking for my next home i want to budget in some kind of procedure (plan of action) right from the beginning of the project to prevent any problems when i go to sell. The inspector taught me what to look for when inspecting a home before i buy but what if i miss something? I am considering doing a DIY treatment right at the beginning of the project so if i missed something, it would take care of it when i put it up for sale. I helped my mother do her DIY termite treatment at her home so it definitely feasible. What do any of y'all do concerning termites? Thanks for reading, any tips would be greatly appreciated!
