US Bank owned property access problem

Robert Moncrief
Posted

Strange situation I'm hoping someone can help with.  I was looking at a property owned by US Bank Trust and scheduled a visit.  When we arrived the lock box with the key was missing.  The listing agent was contacted and had no clue what was going on.  She has reached out to the bank but hasn't gotten a response.  I tried to call US Bank to see if I could find someone that would at least reach out to the listing agent to try and sort out access to the property but that was like calling the IRS and asking for help.  The people on the phone were nice enough but couldn't get a person to help out and I was just told the agent will have to wait for a response to her inquiry.

I don't know if I actually want the property or not but can't really decide until I get a better look.  I've searched online but can't find any contact info for US Bank aside from the generic customer service number.  I don't think there is much I can do but I figured I would post here to see if maybe there was something I was missing or maybe someone had a different avenue to try with US Bank to try and get them to give access to the property.

Thanks in advance if anyone out there has any insight.
