Unsecured Credit Facility for Purchasing Real Estate
This question is for the more experienced deal makers on here. Have you ever heard of private investment firms getting unsecured credit facilities for the purchase of real estate? All of the public companies out there seem to have these large credit facilities that allows them to buy properties with cash, add value and then do a cash out refi and payback the facility, but the last time I heard of a private investor securing one was in 2007. Are these possible right now for private investors or just the companies that have access to the public markets?
