Texas tax sale residential lot redemption period?

Does any one know the redemption period for a lot thats zoned residential in dallas texas. The lot had been vacant since 2012 and we were successful in being the winning bidders. My understanding its 6 months 180 days for the previous owner to redeem since it is not agricultural land. If it was a homestead property or an agricultural land then the redemption period would be 2 years. Of anyone has gone through this process before with buying vacant residential lots in texas and would share there thoughts i’d be very thankful. Chapter 34 tax sales and redemption Subchapter B redemption sec 34.21 (a) mentions “or the owner of a mineral interest sold at a tax sale to a purchaser other than a taxing unit, may redeem the property on or before the second anniversary of the date on which the purchaser’s deed is filed for record by paying the purchaser the amount the purchaser bid  for the property”.... just somewhat confused on how long is the redemption period in my case.

The local title company here told us it wouldn't provide a title policy on a property (w/ or w/o improvements) with a tax deed for 4 years.  If I ever found a good deal on empty lots in decent locations, I'd still buy them up and just wait it out.
