Partnership & 10 Mortgage Limit

Hello,

I have a partnership 50/50 with someone and had a few questions:

1) Since both of our names are on mortgage & title, does this count towards each of our 10 Fannie Mae / Freddie Mac loans? In other words - whether collectively or not, we each have 9 left?

2) If say, I reach my 10 conventionally financed property limit, can I still get a conventional loan for my primary residence? I ask because there is chance I get 10 mortgages on 10 properties before my own primary (I'm investing out of state).
