LLC taxation if income not collected

Quick general question- If my LLC (s-corp) had profits last year from real estate sales, but I did not collect on any of those profits (ie what was earned stayed within the company account) do the LLC members still pay taxes on the income generated from the LLC?

The reason I ask is that my income came from my w-2 job so I'm wondering if I will have to pay for the income from the LLC from which I did not collect.

Trying to understand how this works, because once I collect income from the LLC, wouldn't I be subject to paying income taxes on this money again?

Thank you in advance.
