Question: How to approach Zoning Problem
I recently made a deal with an owner who has an abandoned house on his property. We were planning on subdividing the house, however, minimum lot size for the zoning district is 5 acres. Also the house is included in Clean and Green which means that around $20,000 in back taxes would be paid if between 2 and 10 acres is subdivided. Is there a better way to approach this issue rather than trying to apply for a variance? Thanks.
