Best cities for investing in 2019-2020?

Hi friends, 

I am passionately learning and starting to search properties towards my first investment.

I live outside of the US so a local area is not relevant for me. To narrow down my search I'm looking for some metrics on the best cities to invest in. While searching the forum I found this blog post from 2017: https://www.biggerpockets.com/...

Does someone know a similar resource for 2019-2020? Or alternatively, other ways to narrow down the list of cities that are currently best for rental and/or flip investments?
