Short Sale-Seller Incentive Wells Fargo?

Does anyone know if a seller in the foreclosure process on a single family home can get a seIler incentive from Wells Fargo to do a short sale? We're currently in contract to purchase a house sub to with the seller receiving $5k as part of the deal. Now that all the payoff info and rehab numbers have come in the numbers aren't working for the deal. We can make this work with a short sale. However, then the $5k is off the table. Unless there's a way to get them a seller incentive from the bank.
