Yellow Letter: Non-Profit

Jacob Weiler

Hi All,

I'm writing my first yellow letter and plan to send out to probate, absentee and driving for dollars contacts.

We've got a little different model and can accept donated & bargain-sale properties, so I'm trying to differentiate myself from others sending out mail

I'd love some perspectives on the letter and any tips to get a better response for our program, thank you again

Greetings,

My name is Jake Weiler, I work with Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity and we are interested in your property.

I’m sure you’ve received other junk mail from the “We Buy Houses” crowd about how they can make you a lowball cash offer in 24 hours, but I wanted to reach out personally and tell you why we are different.

We’ve developed a program that focuses on acquiring, renovating and fundraising with real estate to help drive our mission.

Milwaukee Habitat is combating our city’s affordable housing crisis by helping local families build or repair a place they can call home. We are revitalizing Milwaukee blocks at a time and changing generations to come.

Your property can help change the lives of a Milwaukee family.

We can do more with your property than other investors and we can give you more options.

Donation - if you are in a situation where a large deduction could help your tax liability, we can accept your home as a donation.
“Bargain Sale” - if you need cash but could also use a deduction, the bargain sale path can achieve both of these needs.
Cash Purchase - If the price is right, we can also make a cash offer on the home.

If you’ve considered selling your property, consider Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity.

Thank you again and I can be reached at XXXXXXXX or XXXXXXXXXXX.org

Best,

Jake Weiler
