Capital Gains and Improvements
Hello! If I sell my primary residence within one year, can I still use the cost adjusted basis and count my improvements and commission paid to either breakeven or show a loss and avoid capital gains tax since it would be a true breakeven or loss? Since I do not meet the 2 year primary residence I want to make sure I can.
