Good evening,

I'm a CT landlord looking to to acquire my 2nd property soon. How much do portfolio lenders typically require for a down payment? I am hoping to put down 10-15% but not sure if thats out of the question.

Thanks.

-Ben

Hi Ben,

I'm in a similar situation. I'm looking to purchase my third property (also in CT!) and have been researching and contacting portfolio lenders the past few weeks. From what I've found, the standard on an investment loan is a 25% down payment. If you hear of any better than that though let me know :)
