Inspection of tenant occupied home
I am considering selling a SFH that is occupied by tenants. I would be selling this property to my neighbor as a cash sale without a realtor, I had the property appraised last year when I did a refinance and we have agreed that the appraisal from last year is enough to base the sales price on. The property does have a few issues that need to be dealt with and the buyer is aware of those issues. All he wants is a home inspection. My question is if anyone knows of any creative ways to have an inspection done without spooking the tenant? If, for some reason this deal falls through, I do not want the tenant to vacate the house.

@Jon Arsenault just tell the tenant your refinancing the house and need an inspection. That’s all.
