looking at a house in a gated community?

There’s a house I want to buy at auction but I need to see it first in person to make sure it hasn’t been burned down or to see that it’s in good condition,  but it’s in a gated community.. do you know a way I would be able to enter the community just to look at the house? Or something I could say to the gate person to maybe let me in? I am new to investing and still learning. Thank you!
