Replied

@Ondrej Brown I bought one house through Xome.com and it was easier than I expected. I won the bid and within a few days they sent me a purchase contract to finalize the paperwork.

I've heard stories of online auction sites where the seller won't actually accept the highest bid and they will repost the listing multiple times in an attempt to get others or yourself to bid higher, so don't expect your offer to get accepted the first couple times.

In my case I was on the luckier side and didn't have that issue.
