Getting my first property
I have had a realtor find a property for me it’s a newly built house in a new development. It’s a 3 bedroom 2 bath , 1000 sqft that’s going for 102,990. I am dealing with a lender that has me pre approved for 105 at 4% with a 15% down payment. The 15% down payment is what got me I expected to pay 3.5 -9%.. I talked to her and she suggested a line of credit she uses BBVA and see what I can get approved for. Use that for the down payment and I would only pay the interest then role that in my payment with a renter if I am buying/holding. Is that smart or use my own money for the down payment?
