How does a non-american invest in america?

Good day all,

My name is Leo and i have been studying investing for quite some time now, paying attention to the videos and books, i love the idea of owning property but if i am honest there is such a distance between where i am and where i want to be.

I am from and i live in Bermuda. A little small expensive island. A single family home with 1-3 bedrooms here is between $300,000 and $700,000. It blows my mind how that same money invested in the states can get you a 3-10 door building.

Its my dream to own property in the states, but i can't get u.s lenders to invest in my endeavors because I'm not american, or if i can, i'm not sure how. Bermuda lenders only give money if you're purchasing homes locally, so I'm not to sure how to work around these systems.

Maybe partnerships? Or investing through a company? What do you suggest?
