Hi @Joseph Taylor! Welcome to your RE journey. I am only slightly ahead of you (maybe) and happy to share some of my experiences. I too caught the bug and have immersed myself in books, podcasts, and networking. The books & podcasts will be helpful for you to learn to speak the language of RE, iron out a strategy, and how to evaluate deals. Networking will be pivotal to learning the market and meeting great people to steer you through your early stages of investing. As a wholesaler, networking will be really important and marketing an area where you will want to ramp quickly.

Another great piece of advice I have received is to think of what your strengths are and bring those to the table whenever you meet someone new. Even with little knowledge in RE, draw upon past experiences from previous jobs, groups you belonged to, whatever.

The ATL is a great city. Best of luck!
