Foreclosure - Minneapolis

Zeng Moua
Posted

Hi all. I'm new to real estate investing and looking to buy a foreclosure. The real estate market in Minneapolis is hot where nice homes go at or above list price. I've already been outbid by regular home buyers or cashed out by investors. So, I'm looking at find deals in foreclosures where I can put in sweat equity and get below market value. Looking to live in the house and possibly house hack (minimum of single family 3 beds / 2 bath). Any tips greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know where I can find foreclosure deals and finance options? Do banks lend conventional 30 year mortgages for foreclosures?

Thank you.
