On Real Estate Brokers and Top Producers

Hey BP,

I am about 100 pages into Long-Distance Real Estate Investing by David Greene. Just finished the part about building a team with someone who can get you deals (agents). Without any disrespect to brokers and top producing agents, it appears to me that giving investors deals can really cut into potential profits.

If I am a real estate broker and I find a deal for 125K, why would I sell to an investor for 150 when I can put it on the market for 175-200 and sell it in less than 3 days (especially in this red hot market)?

Hope you guys are finding more deals than I have been lately!!

Thanks in advance,
Eric
