Closing is on Monday, seller wants to get items after closing

We are in Georgia and This is a cash sale and we gave the seller 2 months per their request. They do not actually live in the house and it was basically used for storage. The sellers agent told us today that they will not be able to get all things out before closing and it will be put in writing that they can return at a later time to get the items. The contract states that we get possession at time of closing. Do we have to allow this? We want to move in after closing.

Items left by seller become property of buyer in Washington state. Or, you could rent back to them for storage. If you rent back, have a set time frame and get the proceeds for rent through closing. I wouldn't trust them to pay. And, I'd charge a lot!
