Cracking in brick veneer

Have a vertical/step crack in the brick veneer. Hairline to just over 1/4 inch at the top. The house is on a hill with a crawl space, but this wall sits opposite the garage at the top of the hill. A very small hairline crack on the inside of the garage, opposite this wall.
