Renting My Current Home Buying Another

Hello,

First time poster on this forum longer time reader. My wife and I our looking to move to Florida from Chicago. We would like to rent out our current home and purchase another home in Florida. We have roughly 130k in equity in our home and we are thing of taking the equity to use as a down payment and to assist with furnishing the home . Is this the best idea or is there a better way to do it. The move wont happen for another 2 years but looking to learn now what I will need to do and how to make this a smooth transition.
