Writing Offers on MLS listings

Hello,

I have been working on getting some properties under contract, I have now met with a few sellers and heard no a few times. I am using a website to see MLS listings, and have noticed a few duplexes in the area I invest in sitting for almost a year. I was considering writing a few owner financed offers. Has anyone had any experience, or luck in writing an offer owner financed off an MLS listing? How would that work with listing commission from the agent? any advice would be helpful!

Thank You

@Jason Foy if there is a listing agreement in place, then the seller will owe the listing brokerage a commission. Financing or not is irrelevant in this instance. When you mention owner financing, it sounds like you are referencing 100% owner financing? If so, you are highly unlikely to pull this off. If you are thinking of offering an owner financed deal with a down payment then you might be able to pull this off as the down payment could cover all the costs.
