Sewer Scope Inspection Worth it?

Steven Clark
Posted

Hello,

I am under contract for a 3 family house that will be house hacked! Is it worth getting a scope inspection done? The quote I got was $300 first hour plus $90 every 30mins seems pretty expensive. House was built in 1847

Thoughts?

@Steven Clark Pretty cheap insurance. Collapsed line will cost $10 k or more and no rental income during the repair, I don't know if your state requires you to put them up in hotels until the repair is made. Better to know than to roll the dice.
