How did it you finance your very first real estate investment?

So I’m just starting out with real estate, I don’t know much about it, and currently I’m just consuming as much information about it, the confusing part for me is the financing. So I was wondering, for the people who have gotten at least one real estate property, how did you go about financing your very first investment?
