Rentals in Plymouth, Massachusetts

Looking to purchase a property to be used for short/long-term rentals in Plymouth, MA. Per http://www.city-data.com/, I see that the % of rentals is below the state average (22% of renters versus 38% in MA), should I be concerned? I realize numbers may be skewed due to higher rentals in Boston, but is 22% too low?

@Carly M. Short and long term rentals are very different animals.

In Plymouth, the best STRs are either on the water on one of Plymouth's 365 lake and ponds (as we say around here, one for every day of the year) or direct oceanfront.

Long term rentals can be anywhere and everywhere as the demand for both are very high.

The first question to answer is which you want to go after.
