Wholesaling / LLC Question

I have an LLC in the State of Ohio but would like to expand to the Detroit area in Michigan starting off with wholesaling then possible future investing. Do I need to register my current LLC in Michigan as a foreign LLC or can I continue solely with just the Ohio LLC.
