HUD help please!!
My daughter just won a bid on a HUD repo. Their report stated A/C was ok. House also has an electrical box that could not pass inspection to pull a permit to do inspection. We rented a large generator to do the inspection. Found out A/C compressor is broken and house will need a larger electrical box and connectors for aluminum wiring. Any chance HUD will make any concessions? BTW- house is 10k-15k below market value and she was the only bidder. She bid OVER the asking price.
