Hello all!

My first bigger pockets post!

I am in need of some assistance, but first a little about myself...

I am 33 years old and married. I run all hvac work for an Ivy League college and my wife is a physician.

We make a little over 400k annually.

My wife will be paying off her student loans shortly which will free up over 4K a month, which frees up a decent amount of money for investing.

My question... with the ability to come up with a decent down payment quickly what kind of property should I look for to start off?

I’ve been looking at a bunch of duplexes under 200k but I’m not sure if I should go bigger.

What are your thoughts?
